First time I have ever read (twice) a book where they gave away the ending at the middle of a book. I was also disappointed with the ruinous powers that be at the end. How could the herald just shrug his shoulders and just leave like that?? Really didn't live up to his reputation at all. Other than that the author made great use of descriptives and you could be drawn into the scene easily. I really did enjoy the read (twice) despite the two flaws I had with it.
